FLEX / ROVER SECURITY OFFICER – ARMED & UNARMED

Twin City Security – Dallas is hiring FLEX / ROVER Security Officers for armed and unarmed roles. This position is ideal for commissioned (Level III) officers looking to earn consistent part-time hours with the flexibility of working across various sites — and for unarmed (Level II) officers ready to gain experience across the DFW metroplex.

About the FLEX / ROVER Role

• Prescheduled Shifts: FLEX officers will receive 8–24 hours of scheduled work each week, with full 8–12 hour shifts at select sites.
• Standby Deployment: When not prescheduled, FLEX officers must report to a central DFW location at 5:00 AM, 5:00 PM, or Midnight, depending on shift, in full uniform ready to deploy. Officers are dispatched to cover posts where emergencies, call-offs, or no-shows occur.
• Metro-Wide Coverage: FLEX officers must be ready and willing to drive anywhere within the DFW area to cover sites.
• Site Variety: You’ll gain experience across construction sites, retail, apartment communities, medical facilities, office buildings, transportation terminals and more.

Pay Rates (Starting):

• Commissioned / Armed (Level III): $18–$21/hr (must have valid Level III license & full duty gear, including duty belt, firearm, handcuffs, flashlight, etc.)
• Non-Commissioned / Unarmed (Level II): $15–$17/hr

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Texas Level II or Level III Security License
• Must have reliable transportation to report anywhere in DFW at short notice
• Must report in full, clean uniform at designated shift start times
• Must have a working smartphone with GPS and ability to communicate via call/text
• Must be dependable, professional, and able to adapt to different site environments
• Armed officers must bring full duty gear to every shift
