Armed Security Officer-Long Term (part time)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, professional, and observant Armed Security Guard to provide visible indoor security for a commercial/retail location near the Ridglea are in Fort Worth. You will maintain a safe, welcoming environment for staff and visitors, deter unauthorized access or incidents, and respond calmly and decisively if issues arise.
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a visible indoor presence wit periodic foot patrols of the main floor and entryway.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations.
• Provide professional customer service and assist visitors or staff as needed.
• De-escalate potential conflicts firmly, professionally, and peacefully.
• Complete brief daily activity reports (DARs) and incident reports when required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid Texas Level III Armed Security Commission (Active & in good standing required).
• Must possess your own reliable duty firearm, rig, and duty gear, including plates/carrier.
• Minimum 1–2 years of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• Strong communication, conflict de-escalation, and situational awareness skills.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance for all scheduled shifts.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to start IMMEDIATELY.

• EVERY Friday and Saturday from 3:15pm-9:15pm

Experience:

• Armed security: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Texas Level 3 security license (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Location is in Fort Worth, TX near Camp Bowie and Bryant Irvin area

Pay: $20.00 – $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 per week
