Security Guard

Position Summary

Spa Castle Texas is seeking a professional, dependable, and guest-focused Security Guard to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our guests and employees.

The Security Guard is responsible for monitoring the property, conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, enforcing facility policies, and assisting management with safety and security concerns. Because this position works directly around guests, professionalism, good judgment, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of indoor and outdoor areas, including entrances, parking areas, pool areas, common areas, restaurants, and employee areas.
• Maintain a visible security presence while remaining professional and approachable to guests.
• Monitor guest and employee activity for potential safety, security, or policy concerns.
• Respond promptly to disturbances, suspicious activity, accidents, emergencies, and other incidents.
• Assist management with de-escalating difficult or disruptive guest situations.
• Help enforce Spa Castle policies in a respectful and consistent manner.
• Monitor entrances and restricted areas and help prevent unauthorized access.
• Assist with opening and closing security procedures as assigned.
• Monitor CCTV/security cameras when required.
• Document accidents, disturbances, property damage, suspicious activity, and other incidents accurately.
• Immediately report serious safety or security concerns to management.
• Assist with emergency evacuations and other emergency procedures.
• Contact police, fire, EMS, or other emergency services when authorized or necessary.
• Help protect Spa Castle property and identify potential theft, vandalism, or damage.
• Work closely with Guest Services, Pool/Sauna, Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B, and management.
• Provide basic assistance and directions to guests when needed.
• Perform other safety and security duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous security, law enforcement, military, hospitality security, or similar experience preferred.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Professional, calm, and respectful when handling difficult situations.
• Ability to make sound decisions during emergencies.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Comfortable working around large numbers of guests.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding security incidents and internal matters.
• Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled.
• Must meet all applicable Texas requirements for security personnel.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to regularly patrol a large multi-level facility.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Ability to respond quickly to incidents throughout the property.
• Ability to lift or assist with reasonable weights when necessary.
