The persons in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Manages security services and related operations including WDT service and problem resolution, all hazard risk mitigation service enhancement and expansion, new business development, operational effectiveness, preparation of post orders, staffing, scheduling, supervision and training at an assigned site.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of security officers, ensuring effective performance and adherence to protocols.
• Oversee and monitor the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other individuals to maintain the security and safety of the premises.
• Maintain a visible presence among visitors, patrons, and employees to enforce order and protect property.
• Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, promptly responding to emergency situations and providing security assistance as required.
• Provide foot or motor vehicle escort services to transport individuals to specified locations, offer personal protection, or accompany individuals off customer property.
• Prepare detailed narrative reports and oversee the maintenance of daily activity reports (DARs).
• Monitor for irregular or unusual activity, implementing appropriate measures to address any identified risks.
• Ensure the security of the facility and designated areas.
• Enforce facility and company policies and procedures consistently.
• Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and prepare comprehensive reports.

Qualifications:

• 
  Must have valid TX Security Guard License.
• Two (2) years of supervision or related experience.
• Two (2) years of security or related work experience with some understanding of the security industry and contract security services.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proficient computer skills are required.
• Open availability to work all shifts and schedules.
• Must possess reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong leadership abilities and the ability to effectively motivate and guide a team.
• Ability to make clear decisions during crisis or high-stress periods.
• May be exposed to high levels of noise or variations in weather and temperature.
• Must be reliable, demonstrate a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior.
