Must have a Level II Texas Guard Card.

Must have security and customer service experience.

Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Front Desk Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises during weekend and weekday shifts. This role involves monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and responding swiftly to incidents to maintain a secure environment. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding safety protocols while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

• Manage access control systems to authorize entry for employees, visitors, and contractors, ensuring only authorized individuals gain access.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including CCTV surveillance and physical inspections, to identify potential security risks or breaches.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents by following established emergency response procedures.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security concerns, disturbances, or violations observed during shifts.
• Perform background checks on visitors or vendors as required to verify identities and maintain safety standards.
• Operate security equipment such as CCTV cameras, AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), Taser devices, and fire alarm systems effectively.
• Enforce compliance with all security regulations while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor at the front desk.

Skills

• Proven experience with surveillance technology including CCTV systems and access control platforms.
• Knowledge of law enforcement procedures, incident report writing, and emergency response protocols.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict de-escalation and conflict management professionally.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
