Temp Armed Security Officer

• Monitor entrances/exits.
• Check guest lists if needed.
• Prevent unauthorized individuals from entering.
• Observe guest behavior and intervene if necessary.
• Observe guest behavior if alcohol is served to prevent intoxication-related issues.
• Ensure that no fights or disruptive behavior occur.
• Assist with managing lines or large groups if needed.
• Maintain a professional, visible presence to discourage any threats or misbehavior.
• Conduct routine patrols of the venue (inside and parking areas).
• Respond quickly to emergencies (medical, fire, or altercations).
• Call police or EMTs if required.
• Evacuate the venue if needed in an orderly fashion.
• Handle any disputes calmly and prevent escalation.
• Assist with removing intoxicated or disruptive guests if necessary.
• Maintain control and proper handling of their firearm.
• Use force only as legally permitted and when absolutely necessary.
• Communicate with event organizers or family if issues arise.
• Work with venue staff to ensure compliance with rules.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
– Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
– Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
– Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies is advantageous.
– Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively.
– Ability to remain calm under pressure while making sound decisions.
– A valid armed security officer license or certification is required.
