MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT. The Operations division may need FLEX for last minute shift openings. Must have reliable transportation. The Security Officer safeguards property by patrolling the premises and monitoring for theft, violence, safety issues, and/or disturbances through observation and reporting. The primary responsibility of the position is to deter crime through an authoritative presence.

If applying for a driver opening: REQUIREMENTS FOR SECURITY OFFICER/DRIVER: This assignment requires driving approval through company insurance. – Must be at least 25 years of age – Valid Texas DL of 3 years+ – No ‘At Fault’ accidents or tickets in the past 3 years – Complete and maintain all requirements for Level II Non-Commissioned Security Officer Registration – Pass Criminal Background screening per TX PSB – Flexible/ open availability – Customer service orientation – Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle crisis situations – Critical thinking and sound judgment – Able to communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing – Visual acuity to drive at night and hearing acuity to observe and otherwise obtain information.
