Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Threat Recognition in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic media and technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. Pay Rate: $16.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and media personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the broadcast or media facility, parking areas, perimeter, and access points to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, and directing authorized guests to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
