As an Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage site entry and exit, verify credentials, and track visitors and deliveries using a computer or tablet. You will remain a visible presence, complete routine patrols, and document security-related activity while providing customer-focused communication to employees and guests. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors at an industrial manufacturing location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor registration, issuing temporary access credentials, and directing traffic flow according to site requirements.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment to identify potential security-related issues and report irregular activity per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events, notifying appropriate contacts, and coordinating with on-site management and/or first responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
