Job Description

As a Security Officer Flex Driver Patrol in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support shipping and yard operations with clear communication and customer service. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or public services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, shipping and receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor access points and vehicle and pedestrian traffic, verifying authorization where required and documenting unusual activity according to site guidelines.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
