Security Officer

Responsibilities:
– Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
– Protect property and assets by implementing security measures and protocols
– Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and prevent unauthorized activity
– Respond to alarms and incidents promptly, taking appropriate action as necessary
– Conduct thorough investigations of any suspicious activities or incidents
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
– Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and safety
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed

Requirements:

-Must be 18 years old and over
– Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred
– Must possess a valid security license or be willing to obtain one
– Knowledge of security operations and procedures
– Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
– Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
– Basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
