About the Opportunity:

A growing private security and protective services company is actively recruiting professional Armed Security Agents for ongoing operations in the Columbus, Ohio area.

This position supports long-term protective operations requiring professionalism, reliability, situational awareness, and operational readiness. Candidates selected for this role will work as part of a structured protective services team supporting corporate and private-sector operations.

This is a full-time W2 position offering consistent hours, overtime opportunities, advancement pathways, and potential travel opportunities tied to regional and national operations.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide professional armed protective services
• Maintain a visible security and deterrence presence
• Monitor assigned areas and report suspicious activity
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
• Complete incident reports and operational documentation
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times
• Follow operational SOP’s, post orders, and client directives
• Work independently or as part of a team environment

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Minimum 3+ years of verified experience required in one or more of the following: Military, Law Enforcement, or Armed Security
• Must possess a current 20-Hour OPOTA Handgun Certificate
• Must be able to complete Ohio PISGS fingerprinting and guard card requirements
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a comprehensive background investigation and drug screening in accordance with company and client requirements
• Candidates must maintain an appropriate level of physical fitness, mobility, and stamina consistent with professional armed protective services operations
• Reliable transportation required
• Reliable smartphone and communication capability required
• Must be able to work flexible schedules, including days, nights and holidays
• Must possess strong communication and decision-making skills
