Responsibilities

• Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security risks or hazards.
• Manage access control by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations effectively.
• Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, assisting individuals in distress until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for accountability and reporting purposes.
• Support loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting suspicious behavior immediately.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and familiarity with loss prevention techniques.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, or conflict management are a plus.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and decisively while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour
