Security Officer

Royce – U.S. Protection Service is seeking vigilant and proactive Security Officers to safeguard our premises, assets, and personnel. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through vigilant surveillance, prompt incident response, and effective conflict management. Responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure continuous site security.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
• Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees by following established access control procedures.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, including medical emergencies requiring first aid or CPR if necessary.
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, ensuring safety for all parties involved.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches for reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when required to resolve incidents or conduct investigations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of surveillance equipment (CCTV) systems and loss prevention techniques.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Background in military or security services is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring environments.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during shifts.
