Nightlife Security Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Nightlife Security Supervisor to oversee security operations in a fast-paced nightlife environment.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, sound judgment, excellent situational awareness, and the ability to respond calmly and effectively during emergencies. This position requires a thorough understanding of security procedures, safety risks, incident reporting, and team supervision.

Schedule: Approximately 15–20 hours per week. Evening, late-night, weekend, and event availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Actively recruit, train, supervise, and support security officers
• Prepare weekly schedules based on operational and client needs
• Assign personnel and provide clear direction before and during shifts
• Attend management meetings to discuss staffing and operational needs
• Assist with planning and coordinating security operations for special events
• Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with company policies, post orders, and client expectations
• Coordinate the team’s response to emergencies, alarms, safety concerns, and other incidents
• Complete and review accurate incident reports and other required documentation
• Investigate concerns, policy violations, and security breaches
• Address and resolve operational issues professionally and promptly
• Provide management with regular updates regarding staffing, incidents, and overall security operations
• Maintain a visible leadership presence and assist with security duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a security supervisor, lead security officer, or in a similar leadership position
• Proven ability to lead, train, schedule, and hold team members accountable
• Knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and incident documentation
• Experience using security-related technology and equipment, including CCTV systems
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other common workplace technology
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership abilities
• Dependable, professional, and committed to maintaining a safe environment
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
• Ability to adapt to changing company requirements, client expectations, operational needs, and security concerns

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events and regular operations
• Ability to move throughout various areas of the facility to conduct inspections and oversee security procedures
• Ability to lift 75 pounds or more when necessary
• Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and physically demanding situations

This is a hands-on leadership position requiring professionalism, accountability, flexibility, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
