Pay: $19.00/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:45 AM–1:00 PM (includes 1.25 hrs weekly overtime)

About the Role

We are seeking a professional, dependable, and motivated First Shift Security Lead to oversee daily operations within our Command Center environment. This position serves as a key point of contact for security personnel, visitors, employees, and client representatives while ensuring all security procedures, reporting requirements, and safety protocols are followed.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This individual will assist with oversight of security operations, provide guidance to on-site officers, and support the Account Manager through effective documentation, coaching, and operational reporting.

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security leadership experience
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Pass a background check
• Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills
• Have excellent data entry and organizational abilities
• Be knowledgeable and comfortable with reception and visitor management duties

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be capable of writing professional reports and responding to emails daily
• Be able to work efficiently under pressure while managing multiple priorities
• Maintain professionalism when interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds and personalities
• Be able to effectively identify, document, and report corrective actions involving security personnel to the Account Manager
• Be capable of learning, enforcing, and training others on client and company policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Command Center security operations
• Monitor security systems, alarms, cameras, and access control systems
• Manage visitor processing and reception-related functions
• Complete incident reports, activity logs, and operational documentation
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to security officers
• Ensure compliance with company and client security policies
• Communicate operational concerns and corrective actions to site leadership
• Assist in training and onboarding security personnel
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and security-related incidents
• Maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment for employees, visitors, and customers
