Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Guard will be responsible for monitoring premises, enforcing rules, and ensuring the safety of all individuals on site.

Shifts Available

Full Time

5am-1pm Monday-Friday

6am-2pm Monday-Friday

8am-4pm Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or misconduct.
• Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is a plus.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff, visitors, and law enforcement personnel.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
