Security Officer

Overview
We are seeking expirienced and polished Security Officers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. This position is a full-time 1st shift position.

Responsibilities

• Manage facility reception deck, checking in visitors/vendors, offering directions and assitance as needed.
• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises, including surveillance of CCTV systems to ensure safety and security.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
• Assist in conflict management situations by employing de-escalation techniques as necessary.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports for management review.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure compliance with legal standards.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 – $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
