In this energetic position, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and providing excellent service to visitors and staff alike. Your proactive approach and keen observation skills will help prevent incidents and respond effectively to any security concerns, all while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
• Observe and operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee key areas
• Control access points by verifying credentials and managing visitor or contractor check-ins
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping
• Enforce safety policies and conduct conflict management to de-escalate tense situations peacefully
• Assist with loss prevention efforts by monitoring for theft or vandalism and reporting suspicious behavior

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related fields is a plus
• Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and security protocols
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, and conflict management are a plus
• Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor
• Strong communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors
• Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and basic law enforcement procedures is advantageous
• Physical ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods as required

Pay: $14.00 – $16.50 per hour
