Centra Defense is expanding and is currently hiring 6 Security Officers for our Ashville site.

Interviews: Friday & Saturday & Sunday
Start Date: First week of October
Positions Available: 6
Shifts: We are hiring for all shifts.

Available Shifts

• 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

About Centra Defense

Our security personnel primarily consist of men and women who are former United States military personnel or current/former local and state law enforcement professionals. Our trained and certified security personnel are pre-screened using strict standards and requirements to ensure our guards adhere to the highest levels of integrity and ethics.

Minimum Requirements

Each candidate must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a clean criminal history
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Be able to pass a drug test
• Be able to pass a background investigation

Each employee is re-screened on a yearly basis, and Centra Defense conducts random drug and alcohol screenings.

Position Overview

The Security Officer will provide security services at a Hillsboro construction site. Responsibilities will vary depending on whether the site is operating during normal company hours or outside business hours.

During Company Hours

Security personnel will:

• Ensure only authorized personnel and visitors enter the site
• Inspect automobiles entering and leaving the site
• Monitor video surveillance equipment
• Respond appropriately to alarms
• Monitor access points and maintain a visible security presence

Outside Business Hours

Security personnel will:

• Conduct regular, staggered patrols of the exterior fence
• Conduct routine, staggered patrols of the interior of the site
• Monitor video surveillance devices
• Respond appropriately to alarms
• Monitor all points of entry
• Identify and report suspicious activity or security concerns

Centra Defense is seeking dependable, professional individuals who can maintain a high level of awareness, follow established procedures, communicate effectively, and provide a professional security presence.

Military and law enforcement experience is valued, but candidates must meet the stated hiring requirements and successfully complete the Centra Defense screening process.

Interviews are Friday and Saturday, with positions scheduled to begin the first week of October.
