JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the patrons, employees, and all properties owned by Scioto Downs
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
- Greeting and thanking customers as they enter and exit the gaming facility
- Must be able to work around animals.
- Makes sure customers are of age by checking ID
- Very Guest Service oriented.
- All other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance.
- Must be able to read and write to ensure report completion.
- Must be able to work rotational shifts. Security experience helpful but not necessary
- Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods. May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment.
- Must be at least 21. Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing. Must be able to pass a background investigation. Subject to pre-employment drug screening.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
- Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
- Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
- Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
