As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control by verifying badges and visitor entry. You will be a calm, service-minded presence, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and document activity with attention to detail. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process-adjacent areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and direct visitors and vendors according to location procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and/or requesting assistance per post orders.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, access activity, and incident response, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
