Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Entry Validation in Grove City, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verifying credentials and directing individuals as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual observations through accurate reports and maintain a professional presence throughout varying work environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
