Job Description

As a Security Officer – Apartment Complex Patrol in Grove City, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with associates and visitors, report observations, and support smooth daily operations with strong customer service. What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and reporting to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking lots, trailer yards, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
Monitor and/or control access at entry points including vehicle gates and pedestrian doors, verifying credentials, directing traffic flow, and supporting shipping and receiving operations as needed.
Complete routine reporting such as activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and communicate observed issues to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
