What You’ll Do

Position Summary: The Adena Health Security Officer is responsible for physical security protection, promoting safety, and assisting patients, visitors, and caregivers within campus buildings. These responsibilities are carried out through the utilization of various systems, personal observations through regular patrols, and other means. The Adena Health Security Officer enforces corporate policies and responds to disruptive situations inside of the building, uses de-escalation techniques to safely resolve these situations, escalates dynamic situations to law enforcement, completes reports in a timely manner, creates new/replacement access badges, and performs various safety preventative maintenance tasks. The incumbent must protect all confidential information that is accessed to perform the duties of this position and works under indirect supervision. This position requires working independently at times, but frequently collaborates with all health system departments. This role also acts as a liaison with law enforcement and fire departments.
