Unarmed Retail Security Officer (2nd Shift Only)

Unarmed Officer

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Stable and consistent work history

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must successfully pass a drug test.
• Must have a driver’s license
• Must have a PERC card and 20 hour training certificate
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Must have active listening skills
• Must have access to reliable transportation
• Must have a personal cell phone with the ability to text/online access
• Must be computer literate
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable

* Must be able to work from 3:45am to 11am

OFFICER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling the property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting/denying entry.
• Greeting Patron’s upon entering and exiting the premises.

• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; reporting trespassers
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
• Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
• Attention to details

• Ability to work in all types of whether conditions (Not an Outdoor Position)

Pay: $18.00 – $18.01 per hour
