About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Loss Prevention and Safety Manager to oversee our loss prevention and safety programs across logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong investigative background, preferably in logistics, warehouse, or distribution space and be skilled at conducting interviews, leading audits, and managing safety compliance initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of OSHA standards and how to implement operational changes to support a safe and secure work environment. Wicklander-Zulawski (WZ) interview training is strongly recommended.
Key Responsibilities
1. Loss Prevention & Investigations:
Conduct and oversee investigations into theft, fraud, policy violations, and suspicious incidents.
2. Safety Program Management:
Ensure full compliance with OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements.
3. PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Training:
Serve as the company’s Certified PIT Trainer; ensure operators are trained and certified per OSHA standards.
4. Training & Compliance:
Design and deliver training programs on loss prevention, safety practices, emergency procedures, and compliance.
5. Reporting & Analytics:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, investigations, and loss metrics.
