Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Guard to join our team and uphold the safety and security of our premises. As a Security Guard, you will be the first line of defense, responsible for monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. Your energetic presence and keen eye for detail will help prevent incidents, respond swiftly to emergencies, and maintain a safe atmosphere at all times.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access points to control entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards
• Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies with appropriate conflict management techniques
• Perform safety checks including first aid administration and CPR if necessary during incidents
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches for reporting purposes
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when required to ensure swift resolution of issues

Requirements

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, conflict management, or surveillance are preferred
• Knowledge of CCTV systems and loss prevention strategies is advantageous
• Strong ability to remain calm under pressure while managing conflicts effectively
• Excellent observational skills with a keen attention to detail during patrols and inspections
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts
• Demonstrated understanding of security protocols and emergency response procedures

Pay: $18.00 – $18.50 per hour
