Unarmed Security Guard

Summary:

A customer focused, and friendly individual who is able to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. Someone to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free.

Security Officer Job Duties:

· Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence

· Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property

· Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area

· Secure all exits, and doors after end of operations

· Obtains help when needed by given communication

· Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions

· Provide assistance to people in need

· Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities

· Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

Requirements

· Proven experience as a security officer or guard

· Detail-orientated and keen observation skills

· Good communication skills – verbal and written

· Integrity and moral fitness

· Reliability and dependability

Education & Experience

· Registered as a security officer (Must have Perc Card and 20Hrs of Training)

· High School diploma or GED is required

· No disqualifying criminal history

· be at least 21 years of age

· current and valid driving license

· working knowledge of security operations and safety practices

· working knowledge of enforcement policies and procedures
