Security/Loss Prevention Officer

We’re looking for an experienced Security/Loss Prevention Officer to join our team and help maintain a safe, trustworthy environment within our high-end jewelry store. This is a full-time, in-store position where professionalism, awareness, and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the sales floor, entrances, and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of customers, staff, and inventory
• Prevent theft, suspicious activity, and unauthorized access through proactive observation and intervention
• Support loss prevention efforts, including identifying high-risk situations, reporting incidents, and following store security protocols
• Safely handle and escort high-value merchandise when needed
• Maintain accurate incident reports and communicate clearly with management
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and alarm systems
• Provide a calm, confident presence during busy store hours

Requirements:

• Previous security experience is required — experience in retail, jewelry, or high-value environments is preferred
• Loss prevention background is a strong plus
• Strong situational awareness and the ability to stay composed under pressure
• Excellent communication and customer-service mindset
• Ability to stand for extended periods and respond quickly when needed
• Must be reliable, professional, and punctual
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Weekend availability may be required

Pay: $20.00 – $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
