We’re looking for an experienced Security/Loss Prevention Officer to join our team and help maintain a safe, trustworthy environment within our high-end jewelry store. This is a full-time, in-store position where professionalism, awareness, and strong communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the sales floor, entrances, and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of customers, staff, and inventory
- Prevent theft, suspicious activity, and unauthorized access through proactive observation and intervention
- Support loss prevention efforts, including identifying high-risk situations, reporting incidents, and following store security protocols
- Safely handle and escort high-value merchandise when needed
- Maintain accurate incident reports and communicate clearly with management
- Assist with opening/closing procedures and alarm systems
- Provide a calm, confident presence during busy store hours
Requirements:
- Previous security experience is required — experience in retail, jewelry, or high-value environments is preferred
- Loss prevention background is a strong plus
- Strong situational awareness and the ability to stay composed under pressure
- Excellent communication and customer-service mindset
- Ability to stand for extended periods and respond quickly when needed
- Must be reliable, professional, and punctual
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Schedule:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Weekend availability may be required
Pay: $20.00 – $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
