Security – MIS

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday

8 hours per day. Start & end times set by Director of Security

School year position

WAGE RANGE: $17.50 – $20.25

QUALIFICATION:

• Prior experience in supervision/security, preferably in an educational setting with a proven ability
• to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff and the community.
• Must be able to walk the building, supervise students, provide security and maintain a safe and appropriate educational atmosphere.
• Ability to perform duties with an awareness of all school and Board of Education rules and policies.

Candidate must possess character and responsibility that model positive traits for students.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Walk and monitor school halls, cafeteria, monitor washroom facilities, monitor parking lots, and the school grounds in general.
• Work positively with the Corporation Director of Security and other district staff.
• Other duties assigned by building administration.
