Position Overview

Armed Security Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at an assigned client site. This position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills.

• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security experience
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Illinois Driver’s License or State ID
• Active PERC Card required
• 20-hour and 40-hour security training certificates required
• Valid FOID Card required
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong communication and observational skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Professional, reliable, and punctual
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Must pass a background check and drug screening

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct interior and exterior patrols
• Monitor CCTV systems and control access points
• Maintain a visible and professional presence
• Enforce site-specific policies and procedures
• Respond to incidents and emergencies (medical, fire, weather, etc.)
• Complete detailed daily activity logs and incident reports
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors
