Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility using CCTV surveillance systems and physical inspections to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches
• Control access points by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, conflicts or emergencies, utilizing conflict management techniques and first aid procedures when necessary
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies to ensure proper protocol is followed
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and access records to ensure accurate documentation of security operations
• Use CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment to monitor premises continuously, identifying potential threats or unauthorized activity
• Enforce loss prevention policies by identifying theft or vandalism and taking appropriate action according to company protocols

Skills

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on safety enforcement
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
• First aid certification and CPR training to respond confidently in medical emergencies
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and procedures for deterring theft or vandalism
• Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, patrolling for extended periods, and responding quickly when needed
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective coordination with emergency responders and team members
