Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to uphold safety and security standards across our facilities. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address potential security risks, ensuring physical security is maintained at all times.
• Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to monitor activity across different areas and detect suspicious behavior.
• Manage access control systems to authorize entry for authorized personnel, perform background checks when necessary, and maintain accurate logs of all visitors and staff.
• Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations by following established emergency response procedures, including fire safety protocols and medical emergencies.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities with clarity and precision.
• Perform conflict de-escalation techniques when dealing with disruptive individuals, ensuring safety for all parties involved.
• Utilize tools such as Taser, firearm handling (where authorized), AED operation, and first aid/CPR skills to manage critical incidents effectively.

Experience

• Prior experience in security roles within environments such as corporate facilities, military settings, or law enforcement agencies is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV), access control systems, and manual handling procedures.
• Proven ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough security screenings.
• Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and conflict management is preferred.
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures including fire safety protocols and heavy lifting techniques for physical security tasks.
• Strong understanding of compliance with security regulations and the importance of maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all operations.
