Responsibilities

• Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
• Control access points by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors in accordance with security protocols
• Respond swiftly to incidents by assessing situations, managing conflicts, and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
• Conduct thorough patrols of the facility to identify potential hazards or vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with safety policies
• Perform first aid and CPR when required, providing immediate assistance during medical emergencies
• Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting any suspicious behavior
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly

Experience

• Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is highly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of surveillance techniques including CCTV operation and monitoring systems
• Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable; ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies is essential
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations professionally
• Familiarity with security procedures related to loss prevention and asset protection
• Experience working with security technology such as access control systems and alarm systems is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with emergency responders, team members, and visitors effectively
