Thursday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Position Overview

Professional Security Consultants (PSC) is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Security Officer for a high-profile location in North Austin. This position is ideal for individuals who are professional, dependable, and committed to providing outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

The ideal candidate is approachable, observant, and capable of handling situations calmly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence
• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff
• Monitor for safety hazards, suspicious activity, and security breaches
• Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents and emergencies
• Contact emergency services (police, fire, EMS) when necessary
• Conduct routine patrols of the property
• Prepare accurate incident and activity reports
• Operate security equipment including CCTV, radios, and access control systems
• Enforce site policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills & Abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to accurately document incidents and maintain reports
• Willingness to learn CPR and First Aid (training available if needed)
• Ability to quickly learn site-specific procedures and property layout

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Texas Security Officer license
• Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Must be reliable, punctual, and customer service driven
• Must represent PSC with integrity and professionalism
