Ranger Protection Agency isn’t looking for officers to sit in a vehicle and observe from a distance. We are a “Boots on the Ground — Resolve & Report” private security agency looking for qualified, like-minded professionals who are comfortable being proactive and handling issues on property.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Only applicants who meet ALL of the following will be considered at this time:

• Current Texas Level III (Armed) Commissioned Security Officer License
• Own firearm and at least one less-lethal option (O/C, baton, or Taser) with appropriate training/certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
• Currently live and/or work in the Greater Austin area
• Able to pass a drug test

THE POSITION

These are outdoor foot-patrol positions at apartment communities and retail centers in the greater Austin area.

Our officers do more than observe and report. Ranger’s Resolve & Report approach includes:

• Addressing lease violations
• Issuing Criminal Trespass Warnings
• Utilizing lawful arrest authority when appropriate
• Proactively addressing suspicious or criminal activity
• Maintaining a visible security presence and interacting with residents, management, and law enforcement
