Responsibilities

• Control entry and exit points using access control systems, verifying identification and ensuring compliance with venue policies
• Conduct thorough surveillance through CCTV monitoring, patrolling premises regularly to deter unauthorized activities
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to handle disruptive behavior effectively while maintaining safety for all guests and staff
• Perform background checks on potential patrons or staff when required, ensuring security protocols are upheld
• Respond promptly to emergencies by executing emergency response procedures, including CPR, AED operation, and first aid when necessary
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any disturbances, injuries, or security breaches for record-keeping and follow-up actions
• Enforce security regulations diligently, including firearm handling, taser deployment (where authorized), and manual handling of situations involving physical security measures

Requirements

• Proven experience in surveillance, law enforcement, military service, or related security roles preferred
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and firearm handling are highly desirable; training provided if needed
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely during patrols or incident management
• Strong conflict management skills with a focus on de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully
• Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control systems, and incident report writing processes
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor under pressure
• Knowledge of compliance with security regulations and emergency response procedures in various settings

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
