Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems and physical patrols to monitor event premises continuously.
• Manage access control by verifying credentials, performing background checks on staff and vendors, and ensuring only authorized individuals enter restricted areas.
• Respond swiftly to incidents or disturbances, utilizing conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management skills to resolve issues calmly and effectively.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities for future review.
• Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when setting up or dismantling security barriers or equipment.
• Execute emergency response procedures including CPR, AED operation, first aid administration, and fire safety protocols when needed.
• Maintain compliance with all security regulations, including firearm handling, Taser deployment, and adherence to legal standards governing private security operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on physical security and surveillance.
• Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with emergency response procedures.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently during event setups or crowd management activities.
• Knowledge of access control systems, CCTV operation, incident report writing, and security technology tools such as fire alarm systems.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated conflict de-escalation skills combined with conflict management expertise to handle tense situations diplomatically.
• Physical fitness to stand for long periods, patrol large areas, perform heavy lifting when necessary, and respond promptly in emergencies.
• Valid licenses or certifications required by local regulations for security personnel; experience with firearm handling is a plus but not mandatory.
