Vehicle Patrol Security Officer

Job Summary

360 Security Group is seeking sharp, mission-ready Vehicle Patrol Officers to join our growing team in Austin, TX. Officers will patrol client properties in a company-provided vehicle, maintaining a secure environment, deterring suspicious activity, and responding to incidents with confidence and composure.

Shift: Will vary and may include Day, Swing or Night shift depending on contracts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile patrols of client properties using a marked patrol vehicle
• Perform perimeter checks, lock-ups, and visual inspections for safety hazards or violations
• Respond quickly and appropriately to alarms, incidents, or emergencies
• Monitor property for suspicious activity and report findings in real-time
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activity reports accurately
• Serve as a visible deterrent and maintain strong situational awareness
• Communicate professionally with clients, dispatch, and team members
• Represent the 360 Security Group brand with respect and integrity

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience in security (must have at least a leval ll guard card), law enforcement, or military is preferred
• Must be at least 25 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required for company vehicle insurance compliance)
• Strong navigation and time management skills
• Knowledge of conflict resolution and incident response procedures
• First aid and CPR certification is a plus
• Clear, confident communication and report writing skills
• Ability to remain alert and professional during long overnight shifts
• Must be available weekends and holidays
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
