You observe the behavior of persons entering the Bank of Canada or its property and investigate and defuse any threats or risks. You activate alarms and inform the Control Room and Manager in cases of emergency or the presence of unauthorized persons. You investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities and maintain written logs, as required.

The Security Officer is trained on different posts and may rotate, as required on the following posts:

  • East / West Tower
