Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern working 06.00-18.00 / 18.00-06.00
Pay: £15.16 hourly rate.

Join our team at CLC Colnbrook Logistics Centre as a Site Security Officer playing a crucial role which requires effective management of access and egress for staff, contractors, visitors, and vehicles, ensuring all movements are authorised, controlled, validated through Fulcrum waypoint bookings, and accurately recorded via systems. Responsibilities also include receiving and managing on-site deliveries, overseeing traffic flow and car park management, and conducting regular internal and external patrols including car parks to deter, detect, and report potential risks. Additional duties include key management, supporting Fire Warden responsibilities, and maintaining constant situational awareness to uphold a safe and secure working environment.

About the Role:

As a Site Security Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Proactively control and monitor access to the site via the main gate, ensuring all entry and exit procedures are strictly followed as per the SOP.
• Conduct dynamic, on-the-spot risk assessments to protect site premises, assets, and personnel.
• Maintain a visible, alert, and professional security presence across the site always.
• Assist & manage with traffic & car parking management on site.
• Accurately review, verify, and process site Fulcrum bookings within the system, validating movements to subsequent waypoints.

• Safeguard the safety and security of people, property, and infrastructure by undertaking regular external & Internal patrols and inspections of the premises, including car park patrols & monitoring.

What we are looking for:

• Good communication skills.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Good level of IT Skills & knowledge to use of booking system, Mobile application systems
• Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure.
• Have the ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary.

Qualifications and Licenses:

Essential

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor/ Security License
• Ability to meet all vetting requirements to include CTC (Counter Terrorism Checks), (5-year address and employment history check)
• Ability to obtain full Airside Pass
• First Aid at Work certificate
• Fire Warden / Fire Marshal Desirable
• CSCS – Green Card
• Banksman/ Traffic Marshal
• Conflict Management
• Previous site security experience
