Security Guard – Long-Term Position (2 Years)

We are hiring a responsible and trustworthy Security Guard to protect our property, employees, and visitors. This role requires someone who is alert, dependable, and able to maintain a safe environment at all times. The position is offered on a two-year ongoing contract.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine patrols to ensure the site remains secure and free from safety risks

• Observe and manage CCTV and security systems to monitor daily activity

• Supervise access points to prevent unauthorised entry

• React quickly and calmly to incidents, alarms, or emergency situations

• Provide basic first aid assistance when required

• Record all incidents clearly and accurately in written reports

• Identify and address suspicious behaviour to help prevent theft or damage

• Ensure all safety rules and security procedures are followed

• Communicate and cooperate with emergency services when necessary

Required Skills and Experience:

• At least two years of experience working in a security-related role

• Fluent in English and an Indian language

• Confident in using surveillance and security equipment

• Knowledge of emergency response and first aid procedures

• Strong awareness and attention to surroundings

• Clear communication skills, both spoken and written

• Calm, professional, and reliable under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £17.00-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 48 per week
