Join Our Team as a Security Officer at The 22 Hotel, London, 4 days on 4 days off, 42 hours average per week

Are you vigilant, professional, and passionate about safety and guest service? The 22 Hotel, London, is looking for a Security Officer to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests, members, and team across our prestigious property.

The Role

As a Security Officer, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment, responding to incidents calmly and efficiently while maintaining high visibility and discretion.

  • Monitor CCTV, conduct regular patrols, and manage access across the property.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents, following internal protocols and reporting procedures.
  • Liaise with other departments to support smooth operations and guest assistance.
  • Handle lost property, secure deliveries, and oversee contractor access.
  • Provide a visible, calm presence in guest-facing areas while remaining alert and attentive at all times.

We offer an all-day public restaurant and a private members’ club, creating a vibrant space for creative minds to connect and grow.

About You

We’re looking for individuals who:

  • Have previous experience in a security or door supervisor role, preferably within hospitality or luxury environments.
  • Hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential).
  • Are calm under pressure and professional in high-stakes situations.
  • Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Present confidently, with a respectful and reassuring manner.

  • Holiday entitlement increases: 2 days at 2 years’ length of service, and a further 3 days at 5 years’ length of service, prorated to your contract hours.
  • Long service award schemes: 5 years (Silver Status, Meal in the Restaurant, TTT embroidered Bathrobe), 10 years (Gold Status, a stay in our sister property with flights with partner), 15 years (Platinum Status – watch this space).
