Relief Security Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic security officer to join our dynamic team on a relief basis at China Mobile in Slough.

Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts 07:00-19:00 & 19:00-07:00

MUST be able to work both day and night shifts.

The role is to provide security services at China Mobile, ensuring compliance and that access and egress are performed with the utmost professionalism and vigilance. Protecting the customer’s employees, property, and other assets in line with the assignment instructions and site-specific customer requirements. Please note that you will be required to work with access control and CCTV systems with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.

The role of a security officer within China Mobile can be challenging, especially when you are required to be consistent and polite at all times. Although demanding, this role will allow you to demonstrate your exemplary customer service skills as you engage with customers, clients and visitor throughout each shift, while remaining alert to security issues and keeping everyone safe.

You will also be providing health and safety support, guidance, and information to all staff, visitors, and contractors while ensuring the safeguarding of the premises. You will be ensuring that health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

Essential Skills

• To be available to work days, nights and weekends
• Must hold a valid front-line SIA license.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Must be over 18.
• Have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full- and part-time education during that period.
• No criminal convictions (current or pending).
• Computer literate, i.e., Excel, Word, and Outlook.
