Job Description

Join Our Team as Operations Support at Securitas!

Are you a self-motivated individual with a passion for building and leading high-performing teams? We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Support role at Securitas , where you'll play a key role in developing, leading, and retaining a team of Officers and Supervisors on one of our biggest contracts.

Monday-Friday

£30,000 per year

Working 37.5 hours per week

SIA licence essential

Access to good transport links

  • Serve as the first point of contact for security personnel queries and maintain customer information as required.
  • Ensure that all personnel have undergone appropriate training and possess the necessary SIA license or LDN for deployment.
  • Maintain accurate rostering to minimize pay queries and ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in managing both direct and indirect costs related to officer deployment, including expenses.
  • Monitor operational data for accuracy and report on progress, highlighting any significant variances.
  • Support the development and retention of a high-performing team of Officers and Supervisors, emphasizing Securitas values.
  • Provide training, advice, and support to ensure team success and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Foster communication, recognize achievements, and contribute to the Securitas community.
  • Assist in recruitment and succession planning to maintain service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with Securitas policies and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in company and area initiatives and projects to contribute to branch development.
  • Provide support to other branches and support functions by sharing best practices.
  • Perform any other duties as directed by the Area Manager.

  • Right to work in the UK : Applicants must possess the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • 5-year checkable history : Candidates should have a verifiable history of employment, education, and residency for the past five years.
  • SIA licence : Possession of a valid SIA licence is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience: 1+ year of previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Ability to work under own initiative: Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and build positive relationships.
  • Strong customer service and organization skills: Excellent customer service and organizational abilities are essential for success in this position.
  • Excellent communication skills: Candidates must be effective communicators, both verbally and in writing.
  • IT proficiency: A good standard of IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft packages, is required.
