Job Description: We are currently seeking experienced and reliable security operatives to join our team. As a Priority First Security Guard, you will work as part of the team responsible for our client’s security operations, ensuring that security protocols and procedures are in place to protect people, property, and assets. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate potential security risks and threats.

Hours:

– Day Shifts (7am – 7pm)

– Night shifts (7pm-7 am)

– Weekend and weekdays

PLEASE NOTE: This position will be a minimum of 3 days a week, with 1 night on weekdays, and Saturday & Sunday. Opportunities will arise for more days, but this will be the minimum to begin with.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular patrols and monitor the premises.

– Manage access control at entry points.

– Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.

– Provide assistance and information to residents and visitors.

– Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and incidents.

– Monitor CCTV where applicable

– Adhering to all Priority First and our clients’ relevant health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

Valid SIA License is required.

– 2 to 3 years of proven experience as a security operative

– Strong customer service skills.

– Ability to handle security equipment and surveillance systems.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.

Person Specification:

– Must be reliable and trustworthy

– Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

– Good timekeeping is essential

– Strong communication skills

– Ability to follow instructions and work calmly under pressure

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £13.30 per hour
