Duties and responsibilities related to the Duty Security Officer role

• Carry out day-to-day security tasks, including monitoring access control, conducting patrols, and assisting with emergency response procedures.

• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.

• Assist in identifying security vulnerabilities during routine checks and promptly reporting any risks or incidents.

• Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk, housekeeping, and facilities, to support security-related needs.

• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances as needed.

• Keep accurate records of incidents and report to supervisors regularly.

About you

Previous experience in hotel security role and possession of a SIA license is essential. You will have strong leadership and communication skills. Flexibility to work all shifts is required.
