Location: Kilburn NW6 7JR

Salary: £32,698.38

Hours: 51.5 hours per week 6:15 to 17:45 Tuesday – Friday, 6:30 to 16:30 on Saturday.

EVERY MONDAY AND SUNDAY OFF!

As the Security Guard you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, customers, and staff. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle a variety of situations calmly and efficiently.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• SIA card
• Honesty and integrity
• Good observational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• The ability to handle sensitive situations and to use initiative to make quick decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with the store manager on any aspect of theft or security.
• Check for customers who behave suspiciously, and carry out search of suspects.
• Check and collect customer receipts.
• Patrol all areas of the shop, including blind spots not just exits and counter.
• Patrol back yard and alleyway.
• Check showroom, basement, and storeroom.
• Log all incidents to discuss with the store manager on a weekly basis.
• Carry out random spot checks
• Check premises at close of day and leave with the last member of staff.
• Monitor traffic wardens outside the store and notify any customers who have vehicles parked outside.
• Check delivery tickets on company vehicles.
