Mitie Security is looking for a security officer to take on the exciting responsibility of working with our partner within the defence sector. Hours: 36.75 per week. 4 week shift pattern 2 weeks days 2 week nights. 12 hour shifts. Soon to change to 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Location: King George Hospital, Ilford

Qualifications:

• SIA Licensed
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong IT Skills, with knowledge of the base MS Office Suite
• Good report writing skills
• Ability to de-escalate and manage conflict
• Be flexible and adaptable to a changing workplace
• Ability to obtain (with help) SC Clearance
• Knowledge on the mental health act (preferred but not essential)

Main Duties:

As a security officer you will be responsible for the access and egress of staff, contractors and visitors. You will be responsible for showing a visible security presence on site by patrolling and covering A&E . You will respond and assist with aggressive patients/members of the public.

There will be opportunities to work on other sites within this contract.
